Normandy Isle and Normandy Shores belong to the several large man made islands which are part of Miami Beach. With the exception of Normandy Drive leading into it, the island is entirely surrounded by Biscayne Bay and it is home to the Normandy Shores Golf Course.
The main street that travels through the community, 71st street, is lined with small shops and restaurants and on the weekends there is a small farmers market that is very family friendly. If you are a golfing enthusiast you will enjoy the historic 18 hole course, Normandy Shores Golf Course. Normandy is centrally located and Bal Harbour is to the northeast and South Beach is to the South offering even more opportunities for nightlife, dining, and shopping. The city is always lively and as a Normandy Isle resident, you’re less than five minutes from it all.
