Each year thousands of visitors flock to the prestigious Art Basel Fair and all of its accompanying satellite events. Art Basel which takes place in Miami, Switzerland, and Hong Kong was originally conceived by three gallerists in Basel, Switzerland, and now is widely considered the premier platform for international art around the world. Some of the best and longest running fairs are Design Miami, Art Miami, and Scope Miami Beach. This year brings new events creating buzz all around town.To cure the traffic congestion that comes with this highly coveted event there are shuttles running from Miami Beach to 29th street in Wynwood and 36th Street in Midtown from the Convention Center, and also Uberboat, a new option on the Uber app where you can catch a boat and ride from Sunset Harbour Marina to Paraiso Bay.
