Let’s explore further north of Miami Beach and instead focus on a different kind of Miami real estate, in this case a somewhat large island to the east of Aventura better known as Williams Island. Unless you’ve looked over to the west while heading north through Sunny Isles Beach you may not have seen Williams Island as it’s off of Biscayne Boulevard just enough to allow it lots of privacy, one of the many features that define the posh neighborhood.
One of the more amusing aspects of Williams Island is the naming convention, or lack thereof. With the exception of the Mediterranean Village condo, all of the Williams Island condos are simply called Williams Island and are differentiated based on their number. In other words, when exploring the island you’ll come upon buildings like Williams Island 2600 or Williams Island 4000.
You could say that Williams Island is one big condo community being that amenities are largely shared among buildings, amenities like pools, a golf course, a marina, youth sports programs and much more. Since all of the buildings stand on the same island the views from each building’s oversized private balcony are breathtaking.
Once you’ve experienced Williams Island, Aventura condos pale in comparison and the nearness to popular Aventura Mall makes them that much more appealing.
