Fisher Island’s World Class Sporting Amenities

Fisher Island is known for its exclusivity amazing Fisher Island condos and high profile residents; but what is often overlooked is its incredible amenities which includes two of the finest sporting facilities in South Florida. Fisher Island has professional grade golf course and tennis facility that is the envy of other private island communities. The golf course and clubhouse have exclusive membership and attract golfers from all over the world to play. The Tennis courts are outstanding and have convinced the likes of Andre Agassi and Boris Becker to call Fisher Island home. The two sporting amenities combine to provide the ultimate luxury living experience for those interested in world class tennis and/or golf facilities. Both of these facilities fall under the Fisher Island Club which has exclusive access.

The golf course is ranked in the top ten nine-hole golf courses in the world by Golf World’s Ron Whitten and contains scenic and challenging holes. According to the Fisher Island Club website, “’Golf lovers have 18 holes of design features in 9 holes’ says P.B. Dye, the course’s celebrated architect. Perfection is redefined at The Links challenging par 35-championship golf course”. The links golf club has also has a 10,000 square foot clubhouse and full-size practice range. The clubhouse has a fantastic Golf Grille restaurant which serves delicious food and beverages.

The Fisher Island tennis facility located in Fisher Island Club is one of the finest facilities in the world. It contains 18 courts with Mediterranean-inspired designs. Fourteen of the courts are clay, two are grass and two are hard courts. The courts are enclosed in beautiful hedges that enhance the privacy and aesthetic appeal of the entire facility. The court’s quality has inspired visits from Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Andy Roddick, Anna Kournikova and more.
