On Friday, April 4th, Jill Eber sold 30 Star Island Dr, a contemporary-style mansion, for $29 million, marking a new record for the prestigious Miami Beach Island.

Built only in 2012, the mansion was one of the newest Miami Beach Homes on the market, subsequently featuring the latest and greatest in contemporary design. This property is sleek and modern in every area. It’s also one of the largest on the island – when including the guesthouse, there are 11 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and four half-bathrooms, with a total living area of 16,000 square feet.

This already-spacious home sits on a 40,000-square foot lot that includes gorgeous landscaping and unparalleled bayfront access. Even the driveway is a work of art, composed of Tahitian pebble stone. It’s new tenants will be welcomed by a dramatic Dominican Coral Stone entryway that floats over beautiful ponds. The interior is instinctively anchored by premium American Black Walnut flooring, while soaring ceilings further enhance the already palpable sense of space.

Star Island is undoubtedly one of Florida’s most exclusive communities, sought after by some of the world’s most affluent residents. As such, all the homes within are exceptionally high class.

“We’re in a very healthy market and Star Island has always been and continues to be sought after,” said luxury superbroker Jill Eber, half of The Jills Team at Coldwell Banker, who sold the listing on the gated island for developers Todd Glaser and the Posner Group.

“We’re seeing a market that is very strong,” said Jill Hertzberg, the other Jill on the team, who also sold 15 Star Island Dr. in March for $17.5 million. That property, which sits on a 40,000-square-foot lot, is expected to be knocked down and supplanted with a more lavish manse.
