Discover Paradise in the Sunset Islands

Wednesday, August 08, 2018

Most people are familiar with Miami Beach’s islands like Star Island, home to various celebrities. And then there are the slightly lesser known islands like the Sunset Islands that are also part of Miami Beach but remain something of a best-kept secret. These four islands are found just west of the Bayshore area and they consist of several inland and waterfront homes for sale.

For purposes of today’s property spotlight, we’ll be taking a closer at a look at a home located on Sunset Island II. The 2569 Lake Avenue home is a six bedroom, six bathroom residence by architect Carlos B. Schoeppl found on a massive 20,000+ square foot lot. It is located on the northeastern corner of the island and it emanates elegance throughout. The home has just over 5,380 square feet of living area and its deluxe features include wraparound verandas with views of the water and the garden, a large yard with a pool, gorgeously impeccable landscaping, and a private dock so you can go sailing on the waters of the Intracoastal Waterway whenever the urge strikes. This enchanting home is truly an island paradise.

The location of the Sunset Islands puts residents close to the best of the city including Lincoln Road’s various restaurants and shops, the beaches to the east, the Fontainebleau to the northeast, and the popular South Beach area.
