Graham and Candice Walsh are the new owners of a 6,401-square-foot home in Miami Beach. The property was sold for $5,020,000, or $785 per square foot. The two-story Mediterranean home has six bedrooms, four full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, and a separate maid's quarters.
The estate at 1330 W. 29th St. on Sunset Lake has been described as an architectural triumph, including Art Deco glass, curved walls and carved ceilings. The home sits on 80 feet of canal-front property and has a deeded dock and ocean access. It also features a three-car garage, tennis court, pool, hot tub and sauna.
Seller Howard Perry Rothberg II Revocable Trust first put the property on the market for $6.9 million at the end of May with agents Jill Eber and Jill Hertzberg, who were also the selling agents. It was listed at $5.9 million at the time of sale. Property taxes for 2008 were $26,999, reflecting a homestead exemption
