Miami Beach's newest hotshot resident is Olympic gold medal swimmer Gary Hall Jr. He paid $785,000 for a three-bedroom home , with an oversized 25-by-45 foot pool-on Regatta Avenue on Sunset Island No 1. "This is where I fell in love with swimming," says Hall, 26. His maternal grandpa, Charles Keating, once had a house on Indian Creek Island. Same Keating who got into very hot water and did time for a savings-and-loan scandal. Hall says he'll train in his new pool, but "I'm looking forward to doing some ocean swimming." He's living here with fiancé Elizabeth Peterson, 34, his partner in a Scottsdale art gallery. She's no athlete, he says, "unless sunbathing is a sport." Wimbish Riteway's Jill Hertzberg and Jill Eber represented Hall; Arvida's Darryl Fox represented the seller, Antonio B. Abiantum, 30, a banking exec.
